Overview
Following the Grade 4 Numbers Mathematics workbook that is aligned with the QEP, I taught students about the different types of angles as well as parallel and perpendicular lines. As opposed to having students solely working in their workbooks, I conducted some interactive and hands-on activities beforehand. The lesson started with a PowerPoint presentation that I created, which included videos and opportunities for the students to share their ideas, answers, and knowledge. This was followed by a hands-on activity where students were given different cut-out objects and had to identify the number of angles in each. Students were permitted to work with other students at their table. Once students finished this activity, they worked on pages in their workbooks. Additional worksheets were given to the students who had completed their work.
