At the 2019 QPAT conference, I had the pleasure of attending a workshop on the topic of supporting and identifying students with language-based learning difficulties. While looking through all the workshops offered, this one caught my eye from the beginning. I have always been drawn to helping students who may struggle or have learning or intellectual disabilities. Educators need to acknowledge that working with these students requires a unique and patient path. I believe that it is our responsibility as teachers to gain the knowledge and resources necessary to be able to better teach students with unique needs.

This poster was created by my colleague Katelyn Rossi and me after attending a workshop on the topic of challenging behaviours found in the classroom. Together, we created a poster to provide educators with strategies and tools to better assist students facing behaviour or academic issues.
